This short film was the second of two I worked on with the team at Base Productions, a production house that’s part of Octavia Foundation a charity I collaborated with at the time. Like all their projects, it started with a social theme—this one focused on trauma and learning to move forward.

The story follows a girl returning to her home, where she’s confronted by past traumas. Over time, she finds a way to live with them and move on.

I edited the entire film in Premiere Pro, managing all the editing with input from the producer and director. I also took care of the sound mixing and worked on the color correction, adding some grading touches to complete the look.

This was a great project to work on, especially since it pushed me to help shape a story I couldn’t relate to from personal experience. It taught me a lot and gave me the chance to hear and amplify a different perspective.
