The production company, Future Studios, brought me on as an edit assistant for the factual TV series Body Bizarre on the Discovery Channel. It was a big project—10 one-hour episodes—and I handled everything from ingesting footage to making sure the final episodes were ready for delivery.

I helped keep the remote editing workflow on track in Premiere Pro, making sure editors got the hard drives they needed and working with the Production Manager to stay on top of progress and deadlines.

During the editing phase, I worked with the Edit producers to pull together rough story cuts based on the scripts. This gave the editors a head start when they picked up new stories, making everything run more smoothly.

In the final stretch, I handled flattening, tracklaying, and consolidating the episodes to get them ready for the sound mixer and the online editor. The online editor, working in DaVinci Resolve, took over for color grading, visual effects, and prepping everything for broadcast.
